A Life's Work: Seven more hours of tape shot as we spent Tax Day in Waco, Texas, filming the Black Gospel Music Restoration Project's digitization process.

The Work-in-Progress Sample continues to become more of a film (36 minutes and counting). I worked on the sample editor Cabot Philbrick put together, incorporating the footage we shot of gospel music enthusiast and founder of the Black Gospel Music Restoration Project, Robert Darden. Tango Octogenario: broadcast on Backdrop NYC, NYC TV
I co-hosted Backdrop NYC, a show that features “buzz-worthy short films about New Yorkers, for New Yorkers, by New Yorkers.” This half-hour show screened three films, including the very beautiful Rubber Soles by Christine Turner and the clever Peanut Butter & Graduation by Greg Condon. Tango Octogenario showed last. There was cute banter and some insight into the making of Tango. Look for it in reruns.
